We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory control coordinator. In this position, you will manage inventory through the use of a computerized Warehouse Management System. Your primary objective will be to maintain accurate counts of all customer inventory.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee inventory according to company guidelines
  • Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items are in stock
  • Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
  • Review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
  • Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs
  • Track rates of accuracy, purchase, and return; track defective items to inform quality control decisions
  • Nurture positive relationships with clients and provide customer service as needed

Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience resolving inventory variances using investigative processes
  • Comfortable playing a key role in Physical Inventory planning and orchestration of counts
  • Experience extracting data from WMS into Excel for data analysis
  • Able to engage in effective communication with customers during challenging situations
  • Experience with OS&D reporting
  • Experience with managing nonconforming material process and initiating process improvement
  • Forklift experience
  • Detail-oriented

Phoenix Logistics seeks an Information Technology (IT) Department Manager who has extensive experience developing and executing warehouse systems and facility-related projects. This position will join our information technology team and be given IT projects to oversee, in addition to day-to-day warehouse support as needs arise. Projects will involve working with operation managers from multiple warehouse and distribution facilities. Top candidates will be able to competently interact with senior management, warehouse WMS user, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee implementation project plans related to WMS systems, IT hardware, security, and facility networks
  • Interface with RAMP WMS users to resolve IT issues
  • Manage all personnel aspects of the IT team
  • Oversee new EDI implementations between our WMS and our customers’ systems
  • Work with software provider on system improvements and upgrades
  • Research and analyze system-to-system variances between RAMP WMS and the customer’s system counts
  • Assist the Director of Material Management in determining the proper storage methods and warehouse storage locations and product flow layout, based on item activity data, environmental factors, physical characteristics of the facility, and capabilities of RAMP-directed put away and allocation strategies
  • Provide warehouse operations support analysis when new procedures and forms are being developed
  • Assist with training new hires on RAMP WMS

Qualifications: The following are minimum qualifications. Applicants with advanced qualifications in this field should not be constrained to apply.

  • Good interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, are required
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills required
  • Experience leading a team and developing direct reports
  • Developed IT budgets and IT project cost estimates
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • Experience with B2C e-commerce
  • 3-5 years of related Information technology department or project management experience

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills required, both oral and written
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 1 year establishing WMS rules and developing WMS configurations in a multiple warehouse environment or at least 2 years as a WMS Super User

  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, willingness and eagerness to learn new skills

  • Assist the warehouse management team in determining proper storage methods and warehouse storage location layout, based on item activity data, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of the facility.
  • Work with operations managers to establish cycle count programs.
  • Create and implement new procedures and forms as needed to assist in improving warehouse operations.
  • Assist training new hires on WMS.

Qualifications: (The following are minimum qualifications and should not constrain applicants with advanced qualifications.)

  • Good interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written are required.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills required.
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent strongly preferred.
    2 years of either WMS warehouse implementations or a WMS Super User, or 3 years as a WMS Programmer, Developer, or related experience.
